X1D is the smallest conveyor dryer matched to the output of the most popular DTG printing systems. Its heating chamber has a boost zone to quickly reach cure temperatures for ink jet, water-based and discharge inks. The LittleRed X1D-18 with an 18 in. (46 cm) wide conveyor belt has a heating chamber the full width of the belt, and can dry Digital White Ink at rates up to 34 pieces per hour at 2 minutes dwell time, or up to 81 garments/hr with water-based ink or discharge, and cure up to 162 garments per hour with plastisol ink.
The LittleRed X1D-30 with a 30 in. (76 cm) wide conveyor belt features a 24 in. (61 cm) wide heater and can dry Digital White Ink at rates up to 29 pieces per hour at 2 minutes dwell time, or up to 65 garments/hr with water-based ink or discharge, and cure up to 150 garments per hour with plastisol ink. It eliminates the flattened, ironed-on appearance and halo associated with heat pressing of printed images, and relegates the heat press to flattening of raised fibers prior to printing with a one second ‘touch’ per garment.
As standard it is equipped with features found on the company’s larger DTG capable dryers including adjustable belt-to-heater clearance to accommodate bulky items, a dual digital PID temperature controller accurate to /- 1°F, and an X-Series conveyor belt roller tracking system with PTFE coated fiberglass belt. A powered exhaust removes moisture and air contaminants, while cooling the housing and controls.
The LittleRed™ X2D Dryer is the most compact and affordable DTG-capable dryer from Vastex. Radically new heat mapping speeds the curing of ink jet, water-based and discharge inks, as well as DTG-digital inks, making the X2D an unbeatable value for smaller shops.
The X2D model comes with a high powered pre-heating zone that surges ink temperatures to over 300°F (149°C) within the first several inches of conveyor travel inside the 27 in. (69 cm) heating chamber. Two closely spaced, height adjustable infrared heaters and dual zone heat controls maintain consistent temperatures needed for DTG and all other inks. Rapid preheating maximizes the dwell time for each kind of ink, allowing increased conveyor belt speeds and dryer output.
Model X2D-30 has a 30 in. (76 cm) wide belt, two 24 in. (61 cm) wide infrared heaters (6300W @ 240V total wattage), and cures up to 240 garments per hour with plastisol inks, up to 122 garments per hour with water-based inks, and up to 34 garments per hour with DTG/digital white ink at 3 minutes dwell time.
This model comes with a powered exhaust system as standard to rapidly remove moisture and air contaminates from the heating chamber, as well as to cool the skin and controls. The conveyor length is 66 in. (168 cm), with a low friction belt aligner and belt speed controls to precisely set dwell times from 35 seconds up to four minutes.
Fully expandable, additional heating chambers and conveyor belt lengths allow for future expansion as business grows. The heaters of all Vastex dryers carry an industry-leading 15-year warranty, and feature closely spaced coils to provide high-density, medium-wavelength infrared heat for maximum cure speed without cold spots or under curing associated with conventional units.
The multi-purpose LittleRed X3-D infrared dryer cures direct-to-garment (DTG) printed textiles as well as plastisol, water-based and discharge-printed garments at higher rates than possible with conventional dryer designs.
Available in 30, 54 and 78 in. (76, 137, and 198 cm) belt widths, it features a high-powered pre-heating zone that rockets ink temperatures past 300°F (149°C) within the first several inches of conveyor travel, maximizing the distance and dwell time for optimum curing of any ink, allowing increased conveyor belt speeds and dryer output.
The Little Red X3-D-30 model is equipped with a 30 in. (76.2 cm) wide conveyor belt and three 24 in. (61 cm) wide infrared heaters (8900W @ 240V total wattage) and can cure 360 plastisol-printed garments/h, 185 water-based or discharge-printed garments/h, and up to 51 garments/h inkjet printed with digital white ink at 3 minutes dwell time.
The 54 in. (137 cm) wide LittleRed X3-D-54 model cures 720 plastisol-printed garments/h, 370 water-based or discharge-printed garments/h, and 103 garments/h inkjet printed with digital white ink or pretreated for DTG printing at 3 minutes dwell time.
The 78 in. (198 cm) wide LittleRed X3-D-78 model accommodates up to three rows of garments, and cures a whopping 1080 plastisol-printed garments/h, 555 water-based or discharge-printed garments/h, and 155 garments/h inkjet printed with digital white ink or pretreated for DTG printing at 3 minutes dwell time.
The X3-D-30 and X3-D-54 models have an overall conveyor belt length of 88 in. (224 cm) long while the X3-D-78 model has an overall length of 102 in. (260 cm). The heating chamber for all three models is 41 in. (104 cm) long and features a powerful, targeted exhaust system as standard to rapidly remove moisture and air contaminates from the heating chamber, as well as cool the skin and controls.
With a second X3 chamber, the LR-X3D-30-2 and LR-X3D-54-2 can handle higher production including longer times necessary for Kornit printers.
