Puff Plastisol Ink rises when it hits the dryer. The heat activates a blowing agent in the ink, so a flat print swells into a soft, rounded, dimensional design — the classic raised look on retro tees, kids' wear and anything that should beg to be touched.

Already have a color you like in another series? Add Badass Puff Additive to a standard plastisol to give it rise. This ready-mixed line just saves you the step.

Printing puff — the rules are different

• Coarse mesh. 60–86. Puff needs a heavy deposit to rise well.
• Print it thick, print it last. A thin deposit barely puffs.
• Do NOT flash between hits unless you have to — flashing pre-cures the surface and kills the rise. Puff does its rising at the final cure.
• The cure is the effect. It rises as it reaches temperature. Under-heat and it won't puff; over-heat and it scorches and collapses.
• Expect the color to lighten slightly as it expands — the ink spreads over more surface area.

Always test cure temperature and a test print before a production run. Puff is more sensitive to dryer temperature than any standard ink — dial it in on a scrap first.

Safety & handling

• Avoid prolonged skin contact — wash with soap and water
• Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling
• Use with adequate ventilation, particularly at the dryer
• Do not pour unused ink back into the container
• Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use
