Siser® EasyPSV™ Permanent Etch Vinyl

Siser® EasyPSV™ Permanent Etch gives you the look of etched glass with none of the sandblasting or etching cream. It's a permanent adhesive vinyl with a frosted finish and a subtle metallic dusting — cut it, apply it, done.

Why use it instead of etching cream

Etching cream is a hydrofluoric-acid product that permanently damages glass and requires careful handling and disposal. This is vinyl. It gives the same visual result, it's reversible if you get it wrong, and there's nothing hazardous to store.

Specifications

• Composition: Calendered PVC

Do not mirror your design

Unlike heat transfer vinyl, adhesive vinyl is cut liner side down and right-reading. Mirroring is the single most common mistake here and wastes the sheet.

Cutter settings

Application

1. Cut liner side down — do not mirror.
2. Weed away the excess.
3. Apply application tape and burnish with a squeegee.
4. Lift the design off the liner with the tape.
5. Position and burnish onto a clean, dry surface.
6. Peel the tape away slowly at a sharp angle.

Care

• Not recommended for drywall or painted surfaces — permanent adhesive will pull paint on removal.
• Keep away from flames, heat sources, microwaves, and dishwashers.
• Hand wash decorated glassware; do not soak.
