Siser® Hotmelt Film Foils Flocking And Reflective - 20"

Siser® HotMelt Film is a plotter-cut hot-melt adhesive film used to bond hot-stamping foils, flock, and reflective materials to fabric. It is not a decoration on its own — it is the adhesive layer you cut, weed, and press first, then apply your foil or flock over the top. It replaces the discontinued PoliMelt adhesive.

The film carries a transparent self-adhesive carrier that holds small pieces in place and makes fine weeding manageable, and it measures 60 microns (2.4 mils) thick. It cuts on any standard vinyl cutter, including Cricut, Silhouette, Graphtec, and Siser Romeo and Juliet.

Recommended Fabrics

• 100% Cotton
• Uncoated Polyester
• Cotton / Polyester blends
• Polyester / Acrylic blends and fleece

Not recommended for sublimated or coated textiles.

Cutter Settings

Cricut — Material: Vinyl · Pressure: Default · Blade: Fine-Point

Silhouette — Material: Heat Transfer, Smooth · Blade: 3 · Speed: 8 · Force: 4

Graphtec — Speed: 8 · Force: 12 · Blade: 45°

Always cut your design mirrored (reversed).

Application Instructions

• Mirror, cut, and weed the design from the HotMelt film.
• Position the design on the garment with the carrier facing up.
• Press the adhesive at 302°F / 150°C for 5 seconds using medium pressure.
• Remove the carrier while it is still warm.
• Lay your foil, flock, or reflective sheet over the adhesive (foil color side up) and press again following that material's instructions.
• Let the transfer cool completely, then peel the foil sheet cold.

Always run a test press on your specific garment, foil, and press before production. Platen temperatures vary from the display reading.

Care Instructions

• Wait 24 hours before the first wash.
• Machine wash cold (max 104°F / 40°C), inside out, with a mild detergent.
• Tumble dry low or hang dry.
• Do not bleach and do not dry clean.
• Do not iron directly on the design.
