Extreme 270° Low Cure Plastisol Ink – 62 Colors – For All Fabrics

Extreme 270° Low Cure Plastisol Ink is our lowest-cure ink — a dye-migration-resistant plastisol that fully cures at just 260–280°F (270°F nominal) and prints on all three fabric types: 100% cotton, 50/50 blends, and 100% polyester. The ultra-low cure is what stops polyester dyes from bleeding and protects heat-sensitive and sublimated garments from scorch, while staying low-bleed with great stretch. Bold, opaque color in 62 colors. CPSIA-compliant and phthalate-free, made in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Always run a test print first. Before any production run, print and fully cure a test on your exact garment and check opacity, hand, dye migration and wash-fastness. It's the best habit in the shop — if you're not sure on settings, call us at 201-487-9600 before you run the job.

What it prints on

• 100% cotton — full opacity, bright color at low temp
• 50/50 cotton/poly blends — the cool cure holds back dye migration
• 100% polyester — jerseys, performance and sublimated garments; the extreme low cure is your best defense against bleed and scorch

Printing & curing

• Mesh: 110–160 for opacity; finer (200–355) for detail and halftones
• Squeegee: 65, 75 or 80 durometer — or a 70/90/70 triple durometer
• Flash: 240–260°F; keep flash low and brief to avoid triggering dye migration
• Cure: curing is a time-and-temperature process — bring the full ink film to 260–280°F (127–138°C); the low cure is what keeps polyester dyes from bleeding; confirm with a temp gun or donut probe, not dryer air temp

• Nylon Bond 289 Additive — mix into this ink to bond prints to nylon and other slick synthetics (catalyst; stir in a small amount, limited pot life, always test first).

Safety, PPE & storage

• Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses; avoid prolonged skin contact with uncured ink.
• Print with adequate ventilation; vent your dryer.
• Always stir before use.
• Storage & shelf life: keep sealed, out of sun. Shelf life 1–2 years. As a low-cure ink, store at 60–80°F. In high heat expect container expansion — open carefully. Do not freeze.
• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use.

Compliance

CPSIA compliant (16 CFR 1303 <90 ppm; CPSIA §101 <100 ppm total lead) — safe for children's apparel. Phthalate-free.
