Franmar® Series 8 Hand Shield Barrier Cream

Franmar® Series 8 Hand Shield creates an invisible, comfortable coating on your hands that lets you get the work done without the hassle of trying to scrub them clean afterwards. Ink, pigment and shop grime release from the barrier instead of grinding into your skin. Series 8 is easy to use, biodegradable and free from hazardous chemicals — a necessity for the shop and for home.

How to use: Apply a small amount to clean, dry hands and rub in thoroughly before starting work, paying attention to nail beds and cuticles. Re-apply after washing. Wash with soap and warm water at the end of the job.

Typical uses: Press operators handling plastisol and water-based ink; reclaiming and mixing work; any shop task where hands would otherwise stain.

Safety & Handling

• Handling: For external use on skin only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if irritation develops. Keep out of reach of children. Series 8 is a barrier cream, not a substitute for chemical-resistant gloves — continue to wear appropriate gloves when handling solvents and screen chemicals.
• Storage: Store in the original, tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. Do not allow to freeze.
