General Purpose Plastisol Ink – 63 Colors – For 100% Cotton

General Purpose Plastisol Ink (PFGP Series) is the everyday workhorse for 100% cotton — creamy, high-opacity, and low-tack enough to run all day on a manual or an auto without building up on the screen.

Available in 63 colors across four sizes, pint to 5 gallon. Prints as a standalone color or as an underbase for multi-color work.

Why printers keep it on the shelf

• High opacity — bold coverage on light and dark cotton, single stroke on most colors.
• Low tack — less screen buildup, fewer stops to wipe, cleaner long runs.
• Creamy body — flows smooth and consistent from the first shirt to the last.
• Soft hand — flexible finish that does not sit on the shirt like a plate.
• Wash durable — holds through repeated washing without cracking, peeling or fading.
• Works as an underbase — lay it down and build color on top.

Substrate

100% cotton only. Light and dark garments, standalone or as an underbase.

Printing anything other than 100% cotton? Use a different series:

• 50/50 cotton-poly blends → All Purpose (PFAP) or Bleed Resistant / BR Series (PFBR) — both are formulated to hold back dye migration. General Purpose is not.
• 100% polyester → Athletic (PFATH).
• Nylon → Nylon Bleed Resistant (NPBR).

Running General Purpose on a blend or polyester risks dye migration — the shirt’s dye bleeds up through the ink after cure and your white turns pink. Pick the series that matches the garment and you will not fight it.

How to run it

Mesh	110–160 standard, 200+ for fine detail
Squeegee	65–75 durometer
Stencil	Water-resistant emulsion
Flash	250°F (121°C) for 3–5 seconds
Cure	320–330°F (160–165°C) for full cure
Clean-up	OPTIWASH 125 Ink Remover
Storage	65–90°F (18–32°C), sealed, out of direct sun
Shelf life	12 months from manufacture

• 16 CFR Part 1303 — Lead in Paint & Surface Coatings: <90 ppm lead
• CPSIA Section 101 — Total Lead Content in Substrates: <100 ppm lead
• CPSIA Section 108 — Phthalates (DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIDP, DNOP): <1,000 ppm each

• Wear gloves and safety glasses when handling inks.
