UMX® Mixing White – Pantone® Mixing Base

UMX Mixing White (PFMB Series) is the white base of our Ultimate Mixing System. It blends with UMX Mixing Colors to hit Pantone® formulas exactly — and it is opaque enough to print on its own as a standalone white or an underbase.

Two jobs, one bucket

• Mixing base — the white in every UMX Pantone® formula. Get this wrong and every mix is off.
• Standalone white / underbase — high opacity, bright, prints well on its own.

How to run it

Mixing	Weigh to the UMX formula, stir thoroughly to a smooth even blend
Flash	250°F (121°C) for 3–5 seconds
Cure	320–330°F (160–165°C) for full cure
Substrates	Cotton, polyester and blends
Storage	65–90°F (18–32°C), sealed, cool and dry
Shelf life	12 months from manufacture

Sizes

Pint, quart, gallon, 5 gallon, 30 gallon and 55 gallon — if you are mixing at volume, the drums are there.

Handling

• Wear gloves and eye protection when handling inks.
• Use in a well-ventilated area.
