Franmar® 540PM Poly•U Polyurethane Adhesive Remover

BLUE BEAR® Poly•U® 540PM Polyurethane Adhesive Remover is formulated specifically to remove polyurethane-based adhesives from pre-engineered wood floors, UV-finished wood floors and concrete substrates. The gel consistency makes it easy to target affected areas — whether the adhesive has seeped up through floor slats or been tracked across the floor on workers' shoes.

Directions

Test in a small, inconspicuous area before beginning the project.

• Pre-engineered flooring surfaces: spread a small amount over the adhesive. Allow a couple of minutes of dwell time for adhesive that has just contacted the floor, or 15 to 60 minutes for older adhesive. Once softened, wipe or scrape the product and adhesive from the floor.
• Wood flooring on concrete: spread approximately 1/8 in thick over the highest level of adhesive and let it sit for 8 to 12 hours. Scrape the product and adhesive off the concrete.
• Follow up with BLUE BEAR® Emerge™ 700DG Degreaser for easy clean-up of any remaining residue.
