Metallic Plastisol Ink carries real metal flake, not a pigment that imitates one. Printed correctly it gives a bright, reflective finish that reads as metal across the room — the look customers actually pay a premium for.

Printing metallic — what actually matters

Most metallic complaints come down to one thing: the mesh was too fine and the flake never made it through the screen. Metallic ink carries a physical particle. Treat it like glitter, not like a standard color.

• Open the mesh up. 86–110 is the working range. Go finer and you filter the flake out — you'll get a dull, grey print and wonder why.
• Print it last, on top. Flake needs to sit on the surface to reflect. Anything printed over it kills the shine.
• Stir before every run. Metal flake settles. Ink off the top of a sitting bucket is not the same ink as the bottom.
• Don't over-flash. Excess heat dulls the flake.
• Softer squeegee, lower angle. Lay the flake flat instead of shearing through it.

Always test cure temperature with a donut probe or temp strip. Under-cured plastisol cracks and washes out.

• Keep out of reach of children
• Avoid prolonged skin contact — wash with soap and water
• Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling
• Use with adequate ventilation, particularly at the dryer
• Do not pour unused ink back into the container
• Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use
