Reflective Plastisol Ink – Light & Dark – High-Visibility Screen Printing Ink

Reflective Plastisol Ink contains glass-bead reflective pigment that bounces light back toward its source. Under a car headlight or a flashlight, a print done in this ink lights up — which is exactly what safety and high-visibility apparel is for.

Two versions. Pint, quart, gallon and 5 gallon. Made in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Light vs Dark — pick the right one

Version	Use it for
Light Reflective	Prints a lighter grey at rest, reflects bright. The standard high-vis look.
Dark Reflective	Prints a darker grey at rest, still reflects. For when you want the print subtle in daylight and reflective at night.

Both read as grey in normal light. The reflective effect only appears when light hits them head-on — that's the glass bead doing its job.

Printing reflective

• Open the mesh up. 60–86. Reflective carries a large glass-bead particle — a fine mesh filters the beads out and kills the reflectivity.
• Print it last, on top. The beads must sit on the surface to catch and return light. Anything printed over them destroys the effect.
• Higher deposit is better. More beads on the surface, brighter return.
• Stir before every run. Glass bead settles fast.
• Don't over-flash or over-cure. Excess heat can sink the beads into the ink film.

Always test cure temperature with a donut probe or temp strip. Under-cured plastisol cracks and washes out.

Note: this is a reflective print ink, not certified retroreflective safety material. For garments that must meet ANSI/ISEA high-visibility standards, confirm the finished garment is tested to the standard you need.

Safety & handling

• Keep out of reach of children
• Avoid prolonged skin contact — wash with soap and water
• Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling
• Use with adequate ventilation, particularly at the dryer
• Do not pour unused ink back into the container
• Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use
