To maintain the vibrant and high-quality finish of your Dimension™ 2 Heat Transfer Vinyl, follow these care instructions closely:
- Ironing: Always iron garments inside out. Do not iron directly on the film as this may damage the vinyl.
- Layering: We do not recommend layering Dimension™ 2 with other materials. This ensures the consistency and durability of your designs.
- Repressing: To keep the material looking consistent throughout wash cycles, it is advisable to repress the garment. Note that repressing may give the vinyl a brushed metal appearance.
- Splice Handling: Some rolls may have splices that cause the material to conform around the edges of the tape. However, this will not affect the cutting process or the final appearance of your designs.
Translucency Notes:
- White Vinyl: This variant is translucent, meaning the underlying garment color may show through.
- Camo Variants (Green/Black, Earthtone, Grey, Blue/Black): These colors are translucent in certain areas, allowing the garment color to be visible.
- Leopard Variants (Silver, Gold): These are slightly translucent but generally do not allow garment color to show through once pressed.
- Holoshine Colors: These variants have a noticeable horizontal line down the middle of the roll and a vertical line approximately due to the manufacturing process. This is not a defect and does not impact the final appearance.
