Product Details:
The UV-1000 Multi-Purpose Ink is formulated for superior performance on a variety of outdoor textiles. It offers outstanding weather and light fastness, with a light fastness rating of 7-8 for selected colors and weather fastness of 3-4 over a 12-month period, making it ideal for long-term outdoor applications. With coverage of approximately 3,000 square feet per gallon, this ink is both efficient and effective for large-scale projects. The ink is ready to use directly from the container and can be modified with RE-704 or RE-705 Reducers for improved printability. For enhanced adhesion and film strength, Bond 992 Catalyst can be added.
Curing Instructions:
- Heat Cure: Cure at approximately 275-285ºF for 1 to 3 minutes under infrared heat.
- No Heat Damage: UV-1000 Multi-Purpose Ink is formulated to prevent heat damage on fabrics.
Screen Fabric Recommendations:
- Screen Fabric: 86-200T Polyester Monofilament is recommended for best results.
- Stencil: Dual cure direct method photo emulsion, SBQ pre-sensitized photo emulsion, or equivalent solvent-resistant films.
Clean-Up:
- Recommended Solvent: Use T-925 Wash Up or equivalent for easy clean-up after printing.
Storage Information:
- Temperature Control: Store the ink at 65-90°F (18-32°C) to maintain its quality. Avoid direct sunlight. For best results, use within one year of the manufacturing date.
