Product Details:
The TR Series is specifically formulated for creating screen printed heat transfers with exceptional performance. Start by screen printing your image onto a hot peel plastisol transfer sheet. If you’re printing multiple colors, it’s recommended to pre-shrink the transfer sheets by running them through your dryer before printing and flashing between colors. Always print your design mirrored and in reverse when working with multiple colors. After printing, apply the transfer powder and run the transfer sheets through your dryer, taking care not to fully cure the ink. Curing Instructions:
- Flash: Flash at 220°F (104°C) for 3 – 5 seconds.
- Gel Cure: Semi-cure at 250°F (121°C) – 280°F (138°C).
- Apply Transfers: Press at 330°F (165°C) – 350°F (177°C) for 15 seconds for best results.
Clean-Up:
- Recommended Cleaner: Use OPTIWASH 125 – Ink Remover for effective and easy clean-up after printing.
Storage Information:
- Temperature Control: Store the ink at 65-90°F (18-32°C) to maintain its quality and performance. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight. For best results, use within one year of the manufacturing date.
