It works well for both single-color and multi-color jobs, allowing for vibrant, soft-hand prints that maintain their integrity over time. When printing on dark cotton, it is recommended to use a white base or a print-flash-print technique to achieve the best color reproduction. For heat-sensitive substrates, the DRIVE additive can be added to lower the curing temperature, ensuring a more versatile printing process.
Curing Instructions:
- Flash: Flash at 250°F (121°C) for 3 – 5 seconds.
- Cure: Final cure at 320°F (160°C) – 350°F (177°C). Ensure all moisture is fully evaporated, and the ink reaches the full curing temperature. Proper air circulation in the dryer is essential for achieving optimal results.
Modifications:
- Drive Additive: To lower the curing temperature, mix the DRIVE additive into the ink at approximately 1.5% by weight. This modification allows curing at temperatures as low as 180°F (82°C), which is beneficial for heat-sensitive fabrics.
